                   Behavioral Health Program for Outpatients
          Program Procedure: Behavioral Treatment Modalities

 

Objective 3:  Offer one of five treatment modalities as specified by Nebraska Medicaid
                       and Behavioral Health                     
            

 Activity 1:   Provide a level of care when the severity of the illness warrants this  
                    intensity of intervention 

Each service will be provided by a provisionally

licensed/licensed substance abuse or mental health professional ;utilizing one of five
treatment modalities which includes:  

1. Individual Therapy with the client; 

2.   Group Therapy including the client in a group setting of no

              more than 8 participants.

3.              Family therapy, with or without the client.

4.              Community Support which provides and develops the  

              necessary services and supports which enable consumers to

              live successfully in the community.  Staff to client ratio not

                        to exceed 1:25.

Activity 2:  Provide a Self-Help Recovery Modality for each client 

                                  All clients will be introduced to self-help methods of recovery and

                                  given assistance in obtaining information about the location of 

                                  various activities to further increase the client’s knowledge of

                                  activities related to these methods.
