Outpatient Services

The Behavioral Health Program is the outpatient component of the Nebraska Urban Indian Health Coalition and is licensed by the State of Nebraska to provide substance abuse disorder-related services. The target population includes Native Americans and others residing in the Metropolitan area including: Dodge, Cass, Sarpy, Washington, and Douglas counties.

The purpose of this program is to provide substance abuse and behavioral health services, which examine the interrelationships of culture and Native American utilization of alcohol and other drugs. Incorporated within all treatment strategies is the acknowledgment of the importance of following the traditional ways: honoring family, tribal identity, values and traditions. It should be noted that although this program specializes in treating Native Americans, the services are available to anyone seeking assistance and the treatment strategies are adjusted to the individual.
