Our Intertribal Treatment Center is for substance abuse. The program delivers culturally-relevant residential, co-ed substance abuse treatment for Native Americans in South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa. A holistic approach that addresses the unique needs of people during recovery is utilized.
The outpatient component of NUIHC is the Behavioral Health Program, which is licensed by the State of Nebraska. It provides substance abuse disorder-related services to a target population that includes Native Americans and others residing in the Metro area that includes Dodge, Cass, Sarpy, Washington, and Douglas counties.
Our transitional living space for men and woman who have successfully completed residential treatment through the Intertribal Treatment Center. Residents work one-on-one with their counselor to develop person-centered treatment plans to aid them in reaching their vocational and educational goals. We are dedicate to helping Native Americans become productive community members.
